Hylarana latouchii is a species of frog belonging to the Ranidae family. It was previously placed in the genus Rana. It can be found in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and possibly Macau.
Its natural habitats are tropical or subtropical moist lowland forests, tropical or subtropical moist montane forests, rivers, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, water storage areas, ponds, open excavations, irrigated land, and ditches and canals. It isn’t considered a threatened species by the IUCN.
This frog is a small species that may grow up to 1.6 inches in snout to vent length.
