Tastavinsaurus

Tastavinsaurus, meaning “Tastavins River lizard,” is a genus of sauropod dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous Period of what is now Spain. It belongs to the family Titanosauriformes, which is one of the largest sauropod groups, and also contains most of the largest dinosaurs to ever walk the planet.

The type species, T. sanzi, is named in honor of Spanish paleontologist Jose Luis Sanz. Tastavinsaurus is known from a partial skeleton.
