Brazilian Terrier

The Brazilian Terrier is a hundred-year-old breed which combines the Fox Terrier with other small breeds, and it is one of the only two dog breeds developed in Brazil. The Brazilian Terrier is a pack hunter with stronger than average instincts.

The Brazilian terrier stands between 14 to 16 inches high and weighs between 14 and 20 pounds. It has a short, tri-color coat, a flat, wedge-shaped skull and folded ears. Its tail is typically docked.

The breed is alert and active; it needs to be kept occupied so that it will not become restless or bored and destructive. The Brazilian Terrier is both intelligent and playful.
