Mudi

The Mudi is a Hungarian herding breed of dog. It is a versatile dog which can not only herd well, but it can also guard flocks, exterminate rodents, and hunt.

The breed stands 15 to 19 inches high and weighs 18 to 29 pounds. It has a medium length coat which is curly or wavy with shorter hair on its legs and face. The color of the Mudi can be black, ash, brown, white, fawn, or black merle. The tail of the breed is generally docked or is short naturally.

The breed is not as popular as other Russian breeds such as the Puli and the Komondor, but it is still incredibly versatile and talented, as well as well-liked by its owners.
