The White warehou, Seriolella caerulea, is a medusafish of the family Centrolophidae found in the southern Pacific and southern Atlantic oceans, at depths of between 1640.42 and 2624.67 ft (500 and 800 m). Its length is up to about 29.53 in (75 cm).
The White warehou has very small scales which are not easily visible, and is a uniform gray-white in color. The top of the head is darker but this does not extend in a “˜V’ back to the dorsal fin as it does in the Silver warehou, Seriolella punctata.
Juveniles are known to live within jellyfish, but move to deeper water as they grow and mature.
