Brown-marbled Grouper

The Brown-marbled Grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus), is a species of fish in the Serranidae family. Its natural habitats are open seas, shallow seas, sub-tidal aquatic beds, coral reefs, and coastal saline lagoons. It is threatened by habitat loss.

It is found in Australia, Bangladesh, British Indian Ocean Territory, Brunei, Cambodia, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Fiji, Guam, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Kiribati, Madagascar, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Mozambique, Myanmar, New Caledonia, Northern Mariana Islands, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Réunion, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Singapore, the Solomon Islands, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Vanuatu, Vietnam, and Yemen.
