British Journal of Sexual Medicine
The British Journal of Sexual Medicine (BJSM) is a medical journal established in 1973 and published Hayward Medical Communications. As of May 2012, editors-in-chief are Simon Barton, MD (Clinical Director and Consultant Physician, Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust, London) and Paul Woolley (University Hospital of South Manchester, UK).
The focus of BJSM is to provide a blend of review-based articles and editorial on a broad range of topics related to male and female health that are of interest and benefit to healthcare professionals in both primary and secondary care environments. It also covers developments in HRT, contraception, oncology and HIV.
Since its launch, BJSM has been at the forefront of education and communication in all aspects of sexual health.
