Information and Computation
Information and Computation is a computer journal established in 1957 under the name Information and Control and published monthly by Elsevier Academic Press. As of July 2012, the editor-in-chief is A.R. Meyer (Lab. for Computer Science, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, USA).
The journal welcomes original papers in all areas of theoretical computer science and computational applications of information theory. The journal welcomes all articles pertaining to the following fields: Biological computation and computational biology, Computational complexity, Computer theorem-proving, Concurrency and distributed process theory, Cryptographic theory, Data base theory, Decision problems in logic, Design and analysis of algorithms, Discrete optimization and mathematical programming, Inductive inference and learning theory, Logic & constraint programming, Program verification & model checking, Probabilistic & Quantum computation, Semantics of programming languages, and Symbolic computation, lambda calculus, and rewriting systems.
The journal is indexed in Scopus and Science Citation Index.
