Earth, Moon, And Planets

Earth, Moon, and Planets is a peer-reviewed scientific journal established in 1969 and published about ten times per year by Springer Science+Business Media. This publication was originally titled The Moon until 1978, when it was renamed The Moon and the Planets; Its current title was changed in 1984. The current co-editors (as of September 2012) of the journal are Giovanni B. Valsecchi (IAS-CNR, Italy) and Murthy S. Gudipati (Caltech and JPL).

This journal focuses mainly on research about the solar system, and publishes original research papers on the Earth, the Moon, and other celestial objects in the Milky Way and beyond. The journal also publishes conference proceedings, review articles, book reviews, and special issues.

Topics include star and planet formation, origin and evolution of the solar system, and the evolution of extra-solar systems and their origins. Topics also include research on asteroids, comets, meteoroids, and near-Earth objects.
