Temperatures:
January through February marks the winter time period for this region. Average temps are usually around 30-40F. March is the beginning of spring and the temps begin to slowly rise as the average temps are usually around 40-50F for the month. As April and May arrive the average temps rebound into the 50-60F and 60-70F range. June through August are the hottest months of the year with average temps of 70-80F. September starts to mark the return of cooler weather for the region as temps drop into the average of 60-70F followed by the month of October when the temps drop into the 50-60F range. November temps further drop on average to the 40-50F. December is the start of winter with temps in the average of 30-40F. Annapolis with its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean shows signs of having a mild winter and cooler summer which is typical of an Atlantic Ocean region. However temps can soar into the 90’s when conditions are right and temps can drop outside of the coolest range when strong Canadian High pressure centers take grasp of the region.

Moisture:
January and February have an average of 2-4inches and during this time it is possible to see snowfall. March sees a slight increase in average precipitation to around 3-5inches as spring moves in and this is the time period when the region can see its heaviest snowfall events. April sees a drop back into the 2-4inch range. May is marked by having an average precipitation range of 3-5inches again with the increase in spring time t-storms. June through the rest of the year has an average of 2-4 inches of precipitation. July is typically the wettest month receiving 4-6inches of precipitation on average.
