Daisy Bush, Brachyglottis greyi

The Daisy Bush (Brachyglottis greyi) is a member of the Asteraceae family. Indigenous to New Zealand, it thrives in warm climates and is tolerant of hot temperatures, high winds and poor soil conditions. This evergreen shrub grows 4 to 5 feet tall and 6 feet wide and features winding stems covered in white down which gives its leaves a silvery grey appearance. Sunny yellow flowers bloom abundantly giving the tree its name.
