Grampians Bauera, Bauera sessiliflora

Grampians Bauera, (Bauera sessiliflora) is a scrambling shrub solely restricted to The Grampians region of Australia.

It has hairy, wiry stems with hairy leaflets less than an inch in size. The plant can reach heights of up to 2 yards. The stalkless flowers display magenta petals and black anthers. Flowers are in bloom from early spring to early summer, specifically September to December in Australia.

This plant is naturally occurring near streams in protected, sandy depressions.
