The Black-fronted Bulbul (Pycnonotus nigricans), is a species of songbird in the Pycnonotidae family. It is found in Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Its natural habitats are dry savanna and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
It is about 7.5 to 8.6 inches long and weighs 1.1 ounces. It has a dark slightly crested head, black bill, prominent red eye-ring, brown back and tail, yellow vent, and light brown breast shading downwards to white belly.
