Blue Picardy Spaniel
The Blue Picardy Spaniel is a French sporting dog, first recorded in the 1870s, bred from the English Setter and the Picardy Spaniel. It stands 22 to 24 inches high and generally weighs around 45 pounds. The Picardy looks like a setter with its long legs. Its coat is black and speckled gray; it is flat or slightly wavy with slight feathering.
The Blue Picardy Spaniel requires regular exercise, and is a playful breed. It makes a good watchdog, but is also gentle and calm and adaptable to children and other animals.
