Nexus One

The Nexus One is the first generation of Nexus phones. It is a Google smartphone manufactured in Taiwan by the HTC Corporation. Tests began on the Nexus One on December 12, 2009, but Google did not confirm the phone to be sold at that time. However, it became available on January 5, 2010, and uses the Android open source mobile operating system featuring voice to text technology.

The Nexus one features a 3.7 inch touchscreen, originally using AMOLED, but on July 26, 2010, the Nexus One would begin using a Super LCD display. It has a second microphone on the back of the unit that will block out background noise while in a phone conversation.

The phone has 512 MB of memory and 512 MB of internal storage with a microSD card slot allowing up to 32 GB of external storage. The camera is a 5.0 mp auto-focus with LED flash, digital zoom and video capabilities.

Other features, apps and software include on the phone are, an integrated media gallery, allowing the user to edit and share photos and videos from the phone, an Amazon MP3 app, and a Facebook app. The phone also has access to more than 210,000 more apps through Google Play.

Nexus One accessories include cases, clip holders, batteries, chargers, cradles, headsets, memory cards, and screen protectors.
