OlivePad

The OlivePad designed and developed by Olive Telecom, is a line of tablet computers originally for India. The original was the OlivePad VT100 released on October 23, 2010. Currently there are three other models, the VTW100, and two models in development, the VTR200 and the VT300.

The VT100 uses the Android 2.2 operating system with 3G connectivity, and supports video calling. The display is a 7-inch touch screen. It has a Qualcomm 667 Mhz CPU, 512 MB RAM, built-in 512 MB of storage with up to 32 GB of expandable storage through a microSD slot. It also has a 3 megapixel camera and webcam.

The VTW100 uses the Android 4.03 operating system with 3G connectivity, and supports video calling. The display is a 7-inch touch screen. It has a 1.0 GHz CPU, 512 MB RAM, built-in 4 GB of storage with up to 32 GB of expandable storage through an microSD slot. It also has a 3 megapixel camera and webcam. An HDMI port and Wi-Fi were added from the original version.

The VTR200 is an updated model of the VT100, and the VT300 is an updated model of the VTW100.

With these units you can access the Internet and have up to 4 e-mail accounts. It has DataViz Documents preloaded to edit and create Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files. It can also be used as a smartphone to send and receive calls and text. It has an eBook reader installed and also has a photo viewer and editor. Your own videos can be viewed as well as YouTube.

Facebook, Twitter, as well as other social networks are supported. Listen to music with headphones, or a wireless headset, and view music albums with the OlivePad music player. It also has a built-in diary and calendar.

There are over 150,000 applications available for the OlivePad.
