In the center of this wide-swath radar image (400km wide) is part of the Arabian Peninsula, showing the northeast of United Arab Emirates (left side) with its main cities of Ajman, Ash Shariqah and Dubai, visible as bright areas along the coast, and Oman (right side and tip of the peninsula).

The group of small white dots off the coast of Oman is a fleet of ships.

To the north lie Iran and the Qeshm Island. Visible on the mainland the city of Bandar-e Abbas and the Zagros Mountains (left).
