The Bosnian capital of Sarajevo can be seen on this SPOT image. The city which became capital in 1992 after Bosnia declared independence from the former Yugoslavia spreads along the Miljacka River. To the north west of the image we can see the Stadium complex built for the 1984 Winter Olympics that were hosted in the city.
