Part of Chile can be observed on this Medium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MERIS) image, particularly the area surrounding the capital, Santiago, in the center-right of the image, shown in grey.

Scrolling down, the main cities of Rancagua, Curico, Talca, Chillan and Concepcion are clearly visible. Along the right side of the image are the snow-capped mountains of the Andes Mountains.
