This radar image shows an area covering Rome and most of the Northern Lazio region. Starting from the upper part of the image what first meets the eye are the Vico and Bracciano Lakes. To the left on the coast is the city of Civitavecchia. In the center of the image is the Leonardo da Vinci Airport (Fiumicino). The City of Rome is the large bright area to the north of the airport and southwards is the volcanic lakes (Albano and Nemi) of the Alban Hills.
