This Advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (ASAR) multitemporal color composite image shows an area over the city of Rome, Italy (large bright area center left) and most of southern part of the Lazio region. Towards the southeast of Rome the Ciampino International Airport and the volcanic lakes (Albano and Nemi) of the Alban Hills are visible. In the upper right corner of the image is the Fucino Basin. The image is made of three ASAR images acquired on different dates and assigning a color (RGB) to each date (Red : 10 November 2002, Green : 17 August 2003, Blue : 4 May 2003).
