Middle East

This Landsat TM image processed in bands 4,5,3 show a region of the Middle East that includes south Lebanon ,north Israel , west Jordan and south-west Syria .Along the shoreline , starting from the south , the city of Haifa on a promontory is located; opposite to Haifa's small bay is possible to see the city of Akko ( Acre ).The northern promontory of the image shows the city of Beirut. Lake Tiberias in the low central part of the image is located , while the capital of Syria , Damascus , is shown at the Anti Lebanon mountain range's foothills , in the central upper side of the image .
