This radar image is centered over the city of Kathmandu (large bright area), the capital of Nepal, situated in the Kathmandu Valley. Visible landmarks starting from the city center are the Roni Pokhari, Ratna Park and Tundikel (gray rectangular area), the Baghmati and Vishnumati rivers, and to the east is the Tribhuvan airport. Further east, the cities of Thimi and Bhaktapur can be seen.
