This wide-swath radar image (400km wide) centered over the border between the countries of Nepal and India. The top half of the image is Nepal with the Himalaya Mountains.

Visible landmarks are the city capital of Kathmandu (large bright area center left), situated in the Kathmandu Valley. Major rivers crossing Nepal: Ghaghara, Gandak, Sun Kasi and Kasi Dhar rivers (center image) flowing north to south, all confluencing with the Ganges River (bottom of the image). The bottom half of the image is the Bihar region of India that is dominated by the Gangetic Plain, a predominantly agricultural area of northern India around the Ganges River.
