Denmark Country Mosaic

This MERIS (MEdium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer) image is centered over Denmark. The country comprises of most of the Jultand Peninsula, plus numerous islands in the Baltic and North Seas. The capital city, Copenhagen lies on the eastern coast of Sjaelland Island in the far east of the country, the population is a little over 1 million. It is only separated from Malmo in Sweden by the Oresund (The Sound).
