This Medium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MERIS) image centered over the island of Cuba is a mosaic of three images (dates: 28 February (left and right part) and 12 March 2003 (center part). Also visible to the north are the Straits of Florida (left) and the Bahamas (right). To the southeast of Cuba across the Windward Passage is Haiti. The light green-bluish areas indicate shallow / lagoon waters.
