Hubble Provides Complete View of Jupiter's Auroras

Images taken in ultraviolet light by the Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph (STIS) show both auroras, the oval-shaped objects in the inset photos. The auroras are brilliant curtains of light in Jupiter's upper atmosphere.
