Icebergs B15F and B15K

January 18, 2010
The MODIS on the Terra satellite captured this image of Icebergs B15F and B15K off the Princess Martha Coast of Antarctica on January 5, 2010. The icebergs are a little bit difficult to pick out of the sea ice and snow, but B15K is the long thin sliver near the center of the image. It's nearly parallel to shore. B15F is shorter and a little wider and slightly to the northwest of B15K. These icebergs have shifted quite a bit in the last few weeks.
