Nanostructure Research at WVEPSCoR

June 14, 2010
Nanostructure Research at WVEPSCoR West Virginia University electrical engineering graduate research assistant Ting Liu explains the use of molecular beam epitaxy for the growth of nanostructures to physics undergraduate Kirk Pirlo. The equipment was upgraded using funding from the National Science Foundation EPSCoR (Experimental Program to Simulate Competitive Research) activity, provided through West Virginia EPSCoR during a previous Research Infrastructure Improvement Grant (RII). The research being performed was funded by NSF grant DMR 01-02753. Further information about West Virginia EPSCoR activities can be found on their Web site at http://www.wvepscor.org/.
