Center for Behavioral Neuroscience (Image 1) The Atlanta Center for Behavioral Neuroscience (CBN), a National Science Foundation Science and Technology Center, provides one of the most diverse environments for undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral research in the nation. CBN is a consortium of seven Atlanta metro-area colleges and universities, including Georgia State University, Emory University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Spelman College. CBN consists of interdisciplinary programs integrating research, education and knowledge transfer. More than 100 neuroscientists lead the CBN research program, along with a cadre of more than 50 graduate students and 25 postdoctoral students, to study the basic neurobiology of social behaviors. CBN also directs a comprehensive education program designed to prepare the next generation of neuroscientists and improve science literacy in our community.
