Polyphemus Moths (Antheraea polyphemus) These two polyphemus moths (Antheraea polyphemus) were observed mating for more than an hour. A. polyphemus is a member of the Saturniidae family, or giant silk moths. They are tan colored with large, purplish eyespots on their two hind wings.
