Darwin's Rigorous Methodology

Darwin not only published his theory of evolution, but he brought much more than that to the sciences for centuries to come, including a rigorous methodology for studying natural phenomena. Darwin took observations from many sciences, synthesized one theory--the theory of evolution--and offered a holistic view of life on Earth through that theory. The result revolutionized the methodology of studying the life sciences.
