On the Space Shuttle Discovery's flight deck, astronaut Stephen K. Robinson conducts one phase of the mission's Detailed Supplementary Objectives (DSO). He uses a cotton swab to collect a saliva sample. The wrist band on his left arm is associated with the same DSO. The ongoing test, dealing with circadian rhythm and other biological systems, is in preparation for the International Space Station (ISS).
