Astronaut Nancy J. Currie spent a great deal of time at controls on the aft flight deck of the Space Shuttle Endeavour during the STS-88 mission. Earlier in the mission, from a nearby station, Currie performed some precise maneuvers with the remote manipulator system (RMS)in mating the U.S.-built Unity module and the Russian-built Zarya.
