Astronaut Scott J. Horowitz, STS-101 pilot, prepares to fly from Houston's Ellington Field to Florida aboard a T-38 jet trainer. Horowitz and the rest of the crew will arrive later in the day to take part in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) activities that include emergency egress training and a dress rehearsal for launch. Horowitz, along with five other astronauts and a cosmonaut representing the Russian Aviation and Space Agency, comprise the crew of the third assembly flight for the International Space Station.
