This digital still camera's image, photographed from the Space Shuttle Columbia, shows Mt. Fuji on the island of Honshu, Japan. The snow-capped inactive volcano, surrounded at lower levels by clouds in this image, lies several miles south of Tokyo. The image was provided by the Earth Sciences and Image Analysis Laboratory at Johnson Space Center.
