This vertical view over glaciers in the Karakoram Mountain range of Northern India was photographed from the Space Shuttle Discovery during the STS-121 mission. The glaciers are centered at 34.8 degrees north latitude and 77.8 degrees east longitude. The small peak in the center of the photo stands 25,170 feet high.
