Diced Remnant

This Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC) image shows blocky remnants of a material that was once more laterally extensive on the floor of an impact crater located northwest of Herschel Crater on Mars. Large ripples of windblown sediment have accumulated around and between the blocks. MGS MOC Release No. MOC2-1484, 5 June 2006
