JSC2004-E-45224 (12 October 2004) --- Astronaut/aquanaut Catherine G. (Cady) Coleman (right), NEEMO-7 mission specialist, uses her new-found medical expertise to apply a bandage for Dr. Craig McKinley of the Centre for Minimal Access Surgery at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, Ontario. Astronaut/aquanaut Robert B. Thirsk (background), commander representing the Canadian Space Agency, looks on. The crew is spending 10 days, October 11-20, on an undersea mission aboard the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Aquarius Underwater Laboratory, located off the coast of Key Largo, Florida, for the NASA Extreme Environment Mission Operations (NEEMO) project.
