JSC2004-E-45220 (11 October 2004) --- Astronaut/aquanaut Robert B. Thirsk (left), NEEMO-7 commander representing the Canadian Space Agency, reviews the daily plan from aboard the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Aquarius Underwater Laboratory, located off the coast of Key Largo, Florida. Dr. Craig McKinley of the Centre for Minimal Access Surgery at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, Ontario, looks on. The crew is spending 10 days, October 11-20, on an undersea mission aboard the underwater laboratory for the NASA Extreme Environment Mission Operations (NEEMO) project.
