JSC2006-E-40694 (17 Sept. 2006) --- NEEMO 11 astronaut/aquanaut Sandra H. Magnus performs a center of gravity task during a session of extravehicular activity (EVA) for the NASA Extreme Environment Mission Operations (NEEMO) project. Magnus is wearing a reconfigurable center of gravity backpack to simulate moon walking. The crew is spending seven days, Sept. 16-22, on an undersea mission aboard the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Aquarius Underwater Laboratory, which is operated by the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and located off the coast of Key Largo, Florida.
