With the skyline of downtown San Francisco and the San Francisco Bay Bridge rising in the background, Space shuttle Endeavour atop its modified 747 carrier aircraft overflies the former Alameda Naval Air Station adjoining San Francisco Bay during the Tour of California on Sept. 21, 2012 that closed out its flight career.
