Spacecraft Readied for the Pad

Inside the mobile service tower at Space Launch Complex-2 at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, workers monitor the progress as the United Launch Alliance’s Delta II payload fairing closes around NASA’s Aquarius spacecraft. Aquarius will be integrated to the Delta II rocket in preparation for the targeted liftoff.
