OMI Sees the Soot Within Smoke

Scientists at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center have developed a method, pioneered with their experiences with the Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer, of using OMI to measure the amounts of reflecting and absorbing aerosols separately.
