As the IceBridge Antarctic 2012 campaign prepares to get underway, this global map shows the transit route of the DC-8 from NASA’s Dryden Aircraft Operation Facility in Palmdale, California to Santiago and then to Punta Arenas in southern Chile, the jumping point for all Antarctic 2012 science flights.
