Tropical Cyclone Dovi (15P) East of Sonoma, Pacific Ocean

This series of images from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on the Terra and Aqua satellites shows Tropical Cyclone Dovi in the Pacific Ocean off the east coast of the island of Samoa. On February 10, 2003, the storm was moving south-southeast and had winds of up to 93.5 miles per hour, and gusts up to 115.5 miles per hour. Maximum wave height was 35 feet.
