1Plasmadermata Dictysome

Transmission electron microscope image of a thin section of Coleus Blumei shoot apex. Plasmadermata and dictysome(golgi) are present in this image. The plasmadermata center is occupied by a desmotubule, which is continuous with the endoplasmic reticulum. The plasmadermata is part of the transport system between cells. Dictysome is another term for golgi, which is a structure involved in protein transport in the cytoplasm of the cell.
