Fascinating Martian Spherules

As the Opportunity rover moved on from trenching to extensive microscopic images, the intriguing spherules continue to astonish geologists as they get closer to understanding their near perfect sphericity, along with examples of agglomerates. This image shows a 'budding' spherule, perhaps combined from two differently sized or malleable agglomerates.
