Flight Day 3 Highlights

Astronaut Wendy Lawrence, STS-114 mission specialist, works at Discovery's aft flight deck where the controls for the Remote Manipulator System (RMS) are located. The Canadian-built robot arm and its Space Station counterpart or Canadarm2 will both be very instrumental in assisting the joint activities of the Shuttle and Station crew members over the next several days.
