Fingers Of Fire

January 25, 2014
This image was taken at the Colorado National Monument during the summer of 2013. I was up for 24 hours straight after driving clear across the Rocky Mountains to Grand Junction. I got there around midnight and basically skirted the whole monument shooting the Milky Way. Along the way, I saw this really cool tree and decided to use it as a foreground object. The monument is a very mystical and beautiful place to visit. The vastness of it is totally amazing and breathtaking. I cannot wait to go back for another visit.
